Green Motion is a car hire company with a strong focus on environmental values. They also want to be ahead of the technology curve, so they commissioned Gravitywell to design and develop a mobile app for their customers at over 400 locations around the world
The innovation that we brought to the rental market is the new Sign & Go service — customers can process all of the paperwork, including passport and driver's license, on their phones, which eliminates the wait at a counter.
Tight deadlines meant that we had to start design and development quickly. Using Agile processes we were able to maintain progress as new information and feature changes came in.
Green Motion attends an annual show in Las Vegas, and this year they wanted to do something special for their stand so we also produced a short promotional video to play in a dedicated mini-cinema at the exhibition.
The film is only 10 minutes long but it is designed to start a conversation with potential new franchisees in the US. We used 3D animation, scenes with actors and talking head interviews to create a glossy and hi-energy mix of brand messages and more detailed information.
Although shot and edited in just 3 weeks, the final piece is dramatic and informative in equal measure!
