The Role

We’re looking for a hybrid full-stack developer and support lead to join our team. You'll be working in the production team to help spec, design, build and deliver tech projects. Your role will span from creating prototypes and MVPs to maintaining mature software products.

As customer support lead, you’ll be the go-to person for handling support requests on existing projects, debugging problems, and deploying fixes in live environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently and collaboratively contribute to the development process
  • Rapidly turn conceptual designs/layouts into wireframes and front-/back-end prototypes
  • Deploy and maintain live sites and apps
  • Lead customer support for existing projects
  • Train and support clients where necessary
  • Debug issues for clients and end-users, deploy fixes, and communicate resolutions effectively
  • Continuously develop your skills to meet evolving project needs

 

What You’ll Need

Technical Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of HTML/CSS/TypeScript
  • Strong working knowledge of JavaScript libraries/frameworks (Node.js & React)
  • Experience with React Native and mobile development
  • Experience with MySQL & Postgres
  • Familiarity with the AWS stack
  • Understanding of best practices around performance, accessibility and SEO considerations in development

 

Bonus Skills

  • Experience working with Serverless technologies
  • Native app development experience
  • Customer support experience, including debugging and client interaction
  • Familiarity working with live production environments

 

Soft Skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to plan
  • Ability to pivot focus quickly to respond to project demands
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work within project management frameworks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-starter with a passion for R&D and continuous learning
  • A team player who contributes to collaborative projects while thinking independently
  • Ability to prioritise tasks when time is tight, focusing on what needs to be done
