At Gravitywell we recognise the importance of R&D.
Regular research and development time means we are always learning and advancing our skills. It’s an opportunity to keep up with the latest technology and ensure that we continue to innovate.
Our clients also appreciate the time we spend doing R&D as it often leads to fresh ideas, new ways to solve a problem and exciting additional features.
As well as our bi-annual hackathons that we publicise, you may not be aware that we also aim to have at least one R&D day each every fortnight. Because our R&D time may be spent on researching a new technology or learning a new skill, we don’t always get to showcase an end result, as it’s often used as something integral to a bigger project.
So this year Gravitywell has introduced the Labs section to our website.
But what is Labs?
We want to record and share with you what we get up to in our R&D time: what we’ve learnt, how we can apply it to our work, our progress and what we’ve built or created as a result.
That may be exploring which wireframe / prototype app can deliver the best user experience for clients, using the opportunity to further develop UI and illustrations from old projects or applying a new understanding of react.native to built an image recognition app.
Be sure to check it out and let us know if you want to know more.
