LDN Graffiti is on BBC’s The One Show!
Last night the brilliant LDN Graffiti, Joe Epstein, did an excellent job showing off Banksy’s lasting graffiti around London on BBC’s The One Show and facilitated some excellent photo opportunities for presenter Adebanji Alade with the work itself. This was nothing short of holding a ladder so Alade could get a selfie with ‘Illegal Rat’ - check out those angles!
Joe’s fantastic photography skills (and copywriting!) are also featured in the Banksy London Tour app we collaborated with him on in 2012.
The app has been a great success: award nominated, at one point being a top seller and recommended by the App Store and even helping Youtube pooch Snoop the Dog and his owner find Banksy’s works around the city. You can follow their Banksy ‘Snoopets’ yourself here.
As mentioned on the show, Banksy’s work is quickly disappearing under other street art, building works or simply being sold off - it’s believed there’s only around 20 still visible in the UK. If you too want to be able to track down and read about Banksy’s visible works in the country's capital whilst you still can, you can download the iOS version from the App Store. We’re hoping to add some additional updates (of old work and new!) and even roll out an Android version in the near future so watch this space!
A big well done to Joe and if you want to see the full segment you can catch it on iPlayer for the next month (The One Show - broadcast on 9/05/17).
