Qrone

Networking is an invaluable activity for building business connections, but the crucial part of the process — swapping contact details — is flawed. Business cards are easily misplaced and LinkedIn, while popular, is a platform saturated with spurious connections rather than genuine contacts.

Enter tech startup Qrone, a dynamic mobile app that future-proofs your contacts and supports you to build a network that counts. Simple and effective; Qrone allows you to connect to contacts with one touch, keeping them accurate, up-to-date and easy to find.

The MVP & App Development Process

Our approach centred around producing a prototype to test the key functionality to validate the concept and de-risk the startup project as fast as possible.

After the success of this initial phase, we embarked on a beta build, expanding the features to build the Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

A crucial exercise during this phase was to challenge our assumptions by putting the mobile app in front of real users as early as possible, testing and validating in various formats such as exhibitions, focus groups and one-to-one interviews.

Another significant challenge was ensuring that Qrone could seamlessly integrate with various platforms and contact apps, allowing users to sync their information effortlessly.

We wanted to eliminate clunky user interfaces and provide a simple, beautiful and easy experience across different touch-points, whether you’re interacting with Qrone through the native app, your contactless card, web, or contact apps.

Brand Identity

Delivered by the multi-award-winning Brand and Design studio, Mytton Williams, the Qrone brand needed to have a premium feel to reflect its elevated position in the market. The Bath-based team created a beautiful identity — chic, sophisticated and business-focused.
